What the integration covers
- Profile sync — two-way sync of traveler data, preferences, and loyalty programs.
- Document access — passport details, visas, and travel documents pulled into Vairo on demand.
- Preference inheritance — seat / meal / airline preferences applied automatically when an agent builds a quote.
- Webhook updates — Vairo gets notified in real-time when a profile changes in Umbrella, so agents always see fresh data.
How it works
When a request lands in Vairo:
- Booking Request — the request arrives via email, OBT, or agent-created.
- Profile Lookup — Vairo queries Umbrella for each traveler on the request.
- Auto-Fill — passport, preferences, frequent flyer numbers, etc. are populated on the request and persist into the quote.
- Book & Sync — after booking, the trip record syncs back to Umbrella so the HR system knows the traveler is in motion.
