Sending the Quote (Extension)

Compose the customer-facing quote and send it to the traveler/arranger — recipient, cover note, AI tone-match, language, and signature, all in a full-panel view.

What you can do here

• Pick the recipient (request requester / specific traveler / custom email)
• Add Cc and Bcc recipients
• Pick and preview a cover-note template with AI tone-matching (pre-selected based on your mailbox default, if configured)
• Choose "Use AI version", "Keep original", or "Edit before sending"
• Pick the output language
• Add a personalised cover note and select a signature
• See a "Copy for email" fallback if you'd rather paste into your own mail client

Walkthrough — send a quote

1. With at least one option in the Options list, click Send to Customer at the top of the Quote tab.
2. A full-width panel slides in over the sidepanel (same interaction as the Notes panel).

Address block:

• To — pre-filled from the request's linked user (requester). If no user is linked, an editable input appears pre-filled with the last known sent_to email. A brief "Loading…" state appears while the recipient resolves.
• + Cc / + Bcc — click either link to expand that field. Both accept comma- or semicolon-separated addresses.

Template & AI preview:

• Pick a Template from the selector row. If your mailbox has a default cover note template configured, it is pre-selected automatically when the panel opens. When you pick one, two side-by-side preview cards appear:
  • Original — the template rendered against this trip's data.
  • AI tone-matched — a version rewritten to match the tone of the customer's last email.
• Use the action buttons under each card:
  • Use AI — adopts the tone-matched version as your cover note.
  • Keep original — uses the rendered template as-is.
  • Edit — drops that version into the message textarea for hand-editing.
