Region Capture

The screenshot tool used across the extension to grab a slice of Amadeus (or any web page) and feed it to AI extraction.

What you can do here

• Capture any rectangular area of any tab as a screenshot
• Paste a screenshot directly from your clipboard (⌘V / Ctrl+V)
• Use the screenshot as input to AI extraction (Flight / Hotel / Car / Train / Other / Quick Notes)
• Capture multiple screenshots in sequence before extracting (useful when fare + rules are on two displays)

Walkthrough — capture a region

1. From any capture trigger (Quote tab's camera icon, PNR tab's "Capture Screen Region" button), click to start.
2. The target tab dims and the cursor becomes a crosshair.
3. Click-and-drag a rectangle around the area you want.
4. Release. The screenshot is saved against the active request and a thumbnail appears in the panel that initiated the capture.
5. Repeat to capture more areas (e.g. fare display + fare rules + schedule).
6. When you have everything, click Extract in the source panel.

Walkthrough — paste a screenshot from your clipboard

If you have a screenshot already on your clipboard (e.g. taken with ⌘Shift+4 on Mac, or from another tool), you can paste it directly into any product panel without triggering the crosshair capture:

1. Make sure the extension sidepanel is open and the correct product tab is active (Flight, Hotel, Car, Train, or Other).
2. Press ⌘V (Mac) or Ctrl+V (Windows/Linux). Alternatively, click the paste icon button in the capture toolbar.
3. The image is pulled from your clipboard and added to the screenshots queue — identical to a live capture.
