Layout
The page has three regions:
- Left sidebar — filters grouped into Inbox (Inbox / Linked / Non-trip), Channels (All / Email / Chat / WhatsApp), and Mailboxes (your connected email accounts, when Email is selected). The All Channels option and the WhatsApp channel are only shown if your agency has WhatsApp enabled or chat conversations exist. The Chat option only appears when there are chat conversations. The Email option is always shown.
- Active filter chips — when any filter other than the defaults is active, a row of chips appears at the top of the sidebar showing your current selections. Click the ✕ on any chip to clear that individual filter. When more than one non-default filter is active, a Clear all link appears to reset everything at once.
- Top stats row — up to four cards: Inbox, Triage, Linked, Archived. Each card is a one-click filter.
- Split panel — the thread list on the left; click any thread and the conversation detail slides in on the right. The list shrinks to a narrow compact mode so both stay visible. Scroll to the bottom of the thread list to load more conversations automatically.
- "Synced X ago" label — sits next to the Refresh button showing when the inbox was last updated ("Synced just now" → "Synced 2 min ago" → "Synced at 14:32"). Updates every 30s so the label stays fresh between auto-refreshes.
Counts on every sidebar item are drawn from the facets API — a dedicated server-side count that reflects all currently active filters, so the numbers always represent what you'd actually see if you clicked that item. Sidebar items with a count of zero are greyed out to indicate no results are available for that combination, but remain clickable. Count badges for Inbox and Linked remain accurate even when you switch between tabs — totals come from the server-side facet response so the badge for a tab you're not currently viewing still reflects the correct count. The total email thread count also updates immediately when a thread is moved or actioned, so the number shown always reflects the current state without needing a manual refresh. When the Triage tab is active, the Mailboxes filter counts reflect only triage conversations, so the per-mailbox numbers shown accurately represent how many triage emails belong to each connected inbox.
The Inbox count includes triage items. The Linked count reflects only linked threads that are not currently being shown as archived — archived linked threads are excluded from this total unless you have opted to show them.
