What you can do here

• Compare emissions to relatable benchmarks (cars off the road, trees planted)
• Get a per-flight breakdown of emissions
• Pick from a curated list of offset projects (Gold Standard / Verra-certified)

Layout

The page has three main sections:

• Total emissions summary — headline tonnage + comparison metrics (e.g. “= 124 trees per year” or “= 3 cars off the road for a year”).
• Flight breakdown — list of each segment with route, flight number, distance, cabin, and emissions for that leg shown as a value + horizontal bar.
• Offset Your Impact — selectable cards for offset projects (e.g. Amazon Rainforest Protection, with Gold Standard badge, type, location, total cost, and €/tonne rate).

Walkthrough — quote a trip with carbon offset

1. From a request workspace, open the Sustainability card (or click into CO₂ Footprint from the top nav with a trip selected).
2. The page loads with the trip’s segments computed.
3. Review the flight breakdown — long-haul business class flights dominate. Use this in customer conversations (“90% of the footprint is the FRA-NRT business leg”).
