Walkthrough
- From the Corporates list, click Add Corporate (top-right or sidebar). The modal opens.
- Fill in Basic Information:
- Company Name (required) — the display name shown across Vairo and on customer-facing emails. Example:
Acme Corporation.
- Company Code (optional) — a short uppercase code (e.g.
ACME). Used in URLs and the corporate list. Auto-generated from the name if you leave it empty.
- Primary Contact Email (optional) — the corporate’s main travel-desk address (e.g.
[email protected]).
- Set Portal Access:
- Enable Corporate Portal is on by default. Leave it on if the corporate will log in to Vairo to submit requests, approve trips, and see quotes. Turn it off for email-only clients — you can flip this later from the corporate detail page.
- (Optional) Use Umbrella Faces Integration to link this new corporate to an existing Umbrella company. Clicking the row opens the Umbrella picker. Skip this step if you’d rather link later from the corporate’s settings.
- Click Create Corporate. The corporate is added and you’re sent to its detail page.
Tips
- Approval workflows, travel policies, and users are configured after the corporate is created. The modal only captures the bare minimum to spin one up.
- If you already have the corporate in Umbrella Faces, prefer Import from Umbrella on the Corporates list — it brings billing entities, travelers, and policies across in one step instead of you adding them manually here.
- The Company Code is uppercase-only. The input force-uppercases as you type; lowercase paste is accepted but normalised on save.
